Visit-Mr Rod Smith Group Managing Director at Cambridge International

We were honoured to receive Mr Rod Smith, Group Managing Director at Cambridge International, at his debut visit to the School, adding invaluably to the long list of cameo moments in the school’s star-studded legacy. It is a matter of great pride for PISJ-ES to host its first-ever distinguished senior executive from CIE as it not only reinforces the institution’s regional reputation but also celebrates our long-standing partnership with Cambridge International.

Mr Rod was given a brief tour of the school where he also attended the PISJ-ES Parliamentary Debates as chief guest. He was further accompanied by his regional leadership team, including Mr Wasim Al Hanbali (Regional Director MENA), Mr Raed Brahedni (Head of Business Development, Assessment Middle East) and Mr Ahmed Shalabi (Country Manager Saudi Arabia). During his interaction, Mr Rod congratulated the school for securing sixteen Cambridge Outstanding Learner Awards in the recent IGCSE & A-Level exams. The visit also entailed discussion on the School’s commendable implementation of the Cambridge curricula where Principal Nasir had the opportunity to share his ideas for future collaboration and staff development.
