Alisha Tasleem

Head Prefect – Girl
A2 – G3

I, Alisha Tasleem, feel great elation and honour to be able to introduce myself as the newly appointed Head Prefect of PISJES.

"And I'm out with lanterns, looking for myself." -Emily Dickinson

Every learner enters the gates of PISJES unaware of their capability towards making a mark in this world. Our institute guides these learners with lanterns into the grand abyss of undiscovered potential and promotes holistic development towards their individualistic thinking. As a student of PISJES, I am grateful for the support and reassurance of our untiring teachers who have moulded me into the individual I am today. I would further extend this gratitude to our Principal, Mr Adnan Nasir, and the administration for entrusting me with the privilege of this designation.

I firmly believe that a core aspect of leadership is envisioning an environment where teamwork is revered. Whilst the designation of Head Girl may be perceived as one with greater authority, I recognize it as one with greater responsibility. To begin with, as Head Prefect it becomes my duty to align students’ conduct with the expectation of this institute and ensure discipline. Further, I aim to encourage students to be vocal regarding their issues by guaranteeing approachability. Fulfilling my responsibility as a leader, I look forward to addressing student concerns to the best of my ability, lending them both an ear and a shoulder.

At last, I would like to state that I stand not just to lead but rather to work collaboratively for the student body’s best interest. I pledge to work hard with zeal, devotion, and determination, working persistently for the excellence of our school.

Ibaadullah Khan

Vice Head Prefect – Boy
Y10 – B1

I, Ibaadullah Khan from Y10-B1, am honoured to have been appointed as Vice-Head Boy for the 2022-2023 academic year. Taking on the position of Vice-Head Boy is a difficult task filled with many challenges. The challenges ahead will be daunting, but I will do everything in my power to make this year as fruitful as possible. I do not consider myself to be better than anyone else, nor do I think of myself too highly.

My goal is to address the concerns of the students promptly and resolve them as best as I can. I aim to do my level best, to make this school year a memorable one. I wish to ensure that the school year passes by smoothly and will try to organize a variety of events for the students, to the best of my ability. Wishing you all the best for a wonderful year ahead!

Maryam Tahir

Vice Head Prefect – Girl
Y10-G2

I, Maryam Tahir, am privileged and honoured to be given the opportunity of being able to represent the entirety of the student body. I wholeheartedly realize the responsibility and challenge that comes with this position and will try my utmost to use it to showcase my sense of commitment towards the students. I vow to use my platform as an outlet for all my fellow students to share their opinions by suppressing the gap in communication between the student body and faculty. Along with this, I intend to maintain the level of discipline that is crucial for the development of Middle and Senior Schools.

By attaining the position of Vice Head Prefect, I aim to have the confidence of the student body to represent them with complete honesty whenever called. I hope that this year will be one where all students can feel free to voice their troubles and, in the end, for it to be one which will stick with them for all the right reasons.
