On the occasion of Saudi Founding Day, we remember the glories of the past with our heads held high and great love in our hearts.

Saudi Founding Day was celebrated with full zeal and zest through a week long activity filled celebration at PISJ-ES. We started the week with a Senior School event explaining the history of Founding Day, its significance, and key historical events that shaped the nation. This was followed by a short video presentation featuring students of PISJ-ES sharing their thoughts on the importance of Founding Day and Saudi heritage and what Saudi Arabia means to them. It further went on to the Founding Day Competition where the host students conducted an interactive quiz competition with questions related to Saudi history and culture, encouraging audience participation. In this event, Principal Mr Adnan Nasir also gave his remarks on Saudi Founding Day and the beautiful bond Saudi Arabia and Pakistan share based on mutual respect, understanding, and a sheer commitment to peace and prosperity of the regions.
Junior and Middle Schools had exhibition areas which included a traditional tent and students and staff dressed in traditional Saudi attire while different activities took place like calligraphy, pottery decoration, bakala sale of Saudi Made products, henna, and face painting. There was also sale of Saudi snacks like baleela, samboosas, basboosa, etc. There was also a display of the Saudi Kings throughout the history of the nation plus the various costumes of the different Saudi regions. The school was decorated with themed buntings and banners outside the school along with traditional Saudi exhibitions through out the school plus the gahwa and dates corners giving the authentic Saudi feel.

Pakistan International School Jeddah - English Section would like to extend our warmest wishes and blessings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, His Royal Highness, Prince Muhammad Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the nation.

Happy Saudi Founding Day!
