PISJ-ES Model United Nations

The PISJ-ES Model United Nations (MUN) is another exemplar of our ambitious attitude towards personality-building, instilling global citizenship and nurturing leadership qualities.

This year’s MUN was an enthralling 3-day experience of a world led by dynamic young leaders.

In Principal Adnan Nasir’s opening address, he took pride in noting how our students evolved not only in their thinking but also in their confidence. He commended them by saying they now approach complex issues with a broader mind set bringing diverse view points against universally accepted facts.

In the Opening Day, Chief Guest, His Excellency Ambassador Fawad Sher Khan, Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the OIC’s address, said he was delighted to know that activities such as the Model United Nations was a regular feature of the school’s extracurricular component of the teaching regime as such exposure at this stage is crucial when the students are on the verge of deciding their career paths and making lifelong choices.

In the Closing Ceremony, Chief Guest, Consul General of Pakistan H.E. Mr. Khalid Majeed, said he was very impressed with the students’ hard work, documents they have produced, the resolutions and the arguments along with the choice of theme that is very relevant to todays worldly issues.
