Talk on Procrastination :

Do you know nearly 85 percent of high school students procrastinate on assignments? And that this number jumps to 92 percent in colleges? Children, especially teenagers, often put more value on what is happening today than what will happen tomorrow. Pair that with the fact that many students’ dislike the idea of doing schoolwork at home, and you have the perfect recipe for a procrastination problem. Our brilliant A-levels student, Zainab Suad, spoke about this particular problem at a recent Ted talk which was organised for the students by the students. Zainab discussed the causes and effects of procrastination and gave tips on how to avoid procrastinating and become a better, self-motivated learner.
